Maria Hintz, Managing Director                                                        

Maria is a Founding Member and Managing Director of Doctors Financial Services (DFS).

She has more than 20 years of experience in operations, accounting and information systems, allowing her to built a unique financial services company.

Working as a Chief Operations Officer in the financial service industry provided her the opportunity to understand the challenges that financial advisors face while assisting their clients. By solving such challenges, she brings value to the DFS team through the introduction of cutting edge technology that allows advisors the ability to provide the best platform to deliver superior financial services to individuals with high net worth.

Maria began her operations services career in 1980 at Claveles Colombianos, a family firm. She grew up in Bogota, Colombia and attended the Xaveriana University in her hometown. After completing her formal education majoring in Business Administration, Maria earned a Masters Degree in Marketing from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota.

Her qualifications in the financial services industry and professional experience enables her to enhance the team by providing formal processes to manage client information in an orderly and cohesive fashion. The ultimate goal is to allow DFS team members the ability to create strategies to achieve clients personal financial objectives.

Maria’s past collaborative work with her husband has created a compelling team to establish DFS based upon high-level of entrepreneurial values.
