Ralph Pence, CLU, Allied Partner - Advisors-Resource                                

Mr. Pence brings over twenty three years of insurance and risk management experience to the Doctors Financial (DFS) team.

His primary role is to assist DFS team members analyze and recommend insurance solutions that protect and grow wealth on a tax efficient manner and to provide liquidity when necessary. 

Formerly Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company's Regional Director for the Texas Region, he held this position since 2001. In this role, he was responsible for recruiting and developing producers in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. 

Ralph has been recognized with several company awards as an established industry leader in sales management, including the National Chairman's Award, an honor for Penn Mutual's leading sales office. As part of the life insurance industry for over 23 years, his success also includes his achievement as a top producer. He is also active in the industry organization, Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU). 

Ralph began his career in the life insurance industry as an actuarial student with Columbus Life. In 1987, he joined Nationwide as an Associate Actuary, and became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in 1989. He was chief actuary for Penn Mutual from 1999-2001. Ralph holds a B.S. in mathematics from Ohio State University. 

He lives in Coppell, Texas, with his wife, Lynne, and their three children.
